Password and active sessions
Security settings apply to the account currently signed in. Do not change them in someone else's account or on someone else's unattended signed-in device.
Open Security →Change your password
- Open Security in your profile.
- Enter your current password, a new password and its confirmation.
- Correct any mismatched or rejected values.
- Submit and wait for the success message.
The new password needs at least 8 characters and must fit within 256 bytes. A character can use more than one byte, so a very long password may reach the size limit sooner.
Your current password confirms the action. A successful password change ends other sessions; other devices will need to sign in again.
Do not assume the change completed before confirmation. Never send your old or new password in support chat. This version does not provide automatic email password recovery; changing a password requires knowing the current one.
Active sessions
The list shows sessions belonging to this account. The current session is marked separately; other sessions can be ended individually.
Before ending an unnecessary or unfamiliar session, consider whether it belongs to another browser or device you use. Revoking a session removes its access; that device must sign in again.
A short browser description alone does not prove who owns a device. If access is in doubt, end unnecessary sessions and change your password.
Sign out of the current account
Use Sign out in the store account menu. Closing a tab does not sign you out. End the session after using a shared device and do not save your password in someone else's browser.
Settings not provided here
This section does not offer two-factor authentication setup, email changes or document uploads. Do not give codes or secrets to a third party to “enable” an action missing from the interface.
